Can delaying the dose be of benefit in terms of side effects not being as strong? Allowing body more time to adjust between the doses...

That’s what I’d like to know...

I had no side effect from my 2 Pfizer jabs. I was a little worried because I had very unpleasant side effects from the Shingrix vaccine => 24 hrs chills, malaise, aches.

I have not seen any reports about side effects being less (or more) from delayed second shots.

Since some places have delayed second shots, so it might be possible to mine the data for a comparison - but it would probably not be controlled for different variables or reporting systems.
