Are people with open cases allowed to take the vaccine?
I did some calculations...with 7 million open cases, you’d have to add up the new cases over the last 70+ days to get to 7 million. (That was almost 3 weeks ago...since then new cases are 75k/day or so, so it’s more than 70 days now.)
That’s also with none of those 7 million either dying or recovering...otherwise you’d have to go back more days.
With real vaccines you can’t take the vaccine if you’ve got the illness. Was your first case closed before you were allowed to take the vaccine?

“2. any preparation used to render an organism immune to some
disease, by inducing or increasing the natural immunity
mechanisms. Prior to 1995, such preparations usually
contained killed organisms of the type for which immunity
was desired, and sometimes used live organisms having
attenuated virulence. Since that date, preparations
containing only specific antigenic portions of the
pathogenic organism have also been used. Some of these are
prepared by genetic engineering techniques.

I received the first dose of vaccine 90 days after I recovered from the virus.
