I wonder, if just getting a low minimum credit card, with say $200 on it, would be a good way to go?

I mean, I’d even be willing to open up another bank account with a low card and keep only say $100 or even $50.

Yes, what I did —in the past— was open a separate account, get a credit/debit card connected to it, and only keep $100 to $200 in it.

I closed that account recently, because I used PayPal more frequently.
