he just got in his truck when his wife died a few years ago and drove until he found where he wanted to live

Have the police stopped looking for him?

Two separate ancient peoples separated by oceans cannot have spontaneously discovered the same thing, proving the 'rightness' of the so-called 'myth'.

Cats, Messengers from the Underworld?

(excerpts)

Although many believe it was the Egyptians that started the myth of Cats being the Guardians of the Underworld, this is based on a very loose interpretation of their Cat Goddess “Bastet”.

She was Goddess of protection against contagious diseases and evil spirits which is not really the Underworld. Her only tenuous connection in these Egyptian myths was because she was seen for a while as the wife of “Anubis”, (The God of Embalming.), who was considered second in command to Osiris of the Underworld but that is as far as it goes.

*snip*

However for the purpose of this post’s thought we need to perhaps move to Celtic Lore. (These guys were around about 1000-800 BC, time of the Iron Age.). The reason for this is that it was they who believed that cats were guardians of the gates to the Otherworld, guardians of their treasures and also bring to the people the wholeness, as a spiritual link between humans and the universe.

This implies that Cats maybe have the ability to hear those spirits that have passed on to the Otherworld, whilst they stand guard of the gates. (We assume as our protectors to make sure that nothing nasty escape from there to our world?).

As you can see, both the ancient Egyptians AND the ancient Celts knew that cats were connected to the under/other world.

They came unto this knowing independent of each other.

So....it is known.

Also, cats will eat your eyes.

I used to get called every 18 months, without fail. I finally told them I was a caregiver to my 90+ yr o father in law and they quit bugging me.

I’ve been on the stupidest cases. Great jury people. But 3-4 days wasted that I can’t get back.

And I’m very vocal about telling the judge what I think. You want your voir dire?

One time I was in the jury pool and we got in the courtroom. The judge explained the case.

A lady was drunk, got in her car, crashed into a parked car. Police were called, she led them on a chase. She didn’t have
a valid license. And she wanted a jury trial.

Ok. I raised my hand and asked the judge...”Your Honor. I’m confused.” (Then I repeated what he said). “Didn’t you just give the ending away? I mean, it’s kinda common sense here.” Silence. Judge says “Bailiff, please dismiss the current jury pool.” Uh huh, my job here us done.

In the article it also states that the wife is unable to visit with her husband and can only talk on the phone.

That is criminal in of itself. In this stage of Covid they should be allowing at least one visitor per person.

Thank God, my brother can go and see his wife up to twice a day while she is fighting lung cancer. He only sees her once a day to allow her other family members to see her.

Don’t know how it is in new hospital she was transferred to as a last ditch effort before hospice. Praying it is the same. (Just transferred Monday and when we speak it is only about her condition.)

That’s why you should always put pennies on your eyes.. to keep the cats from eating them.

My dad had a rotten boss in his 20’s . Rotten boss had mean German Shepherd. When rotten boss died, German Shepherd helped himself to the corpse. True story.

To be clear Dr Feming said, "the spike protein (covid-19) is crossing the blood brain barrier. We now know they form spongiform encephalopathy (mad cow disease)"

Crossing the blood brain barrier does meet the category of being neurodegenerative disorders. Which is not good. Forming mad cow disease I question.

The vaccines are less then useless with the exception from Fleming J&J Janssen vaccine has some effect. What fights Neurodegenerative disorders is higher levels of HDL which vitamin B3 raises HDL by 30%. Cromoglicic acid is an inflammatory prevention. Palmitoylethanolamide is an excellent anti-neuroinflammatory. Which the article above explains Anti-oxidation and anti-inflammation is key for prevention

That’s the probiotic I take. She is taking a probiotic but I don’t know which one. I talked to my sister yesterday and she said it seems to be in remission right now but who knows for how long. It’s done that before but always comes back. Mom is hard headed. She thinks that if it isn’t a prescription that it’s not good enough. Those prescriptions are probably causing most of her problems. She’s a borderline hypochondriac.

***? Locked knees for extended period of time***

Just suggesting. Even in military parade formations the phenomenon is uncommon. I did not see any other suggestions for her fainting and afterwards she appeared all right.

Actually, you hit it in that few understand most of it. Rush really should have left a replacement host even though it would have been near impossible to do.

Bringing everyone on board is a talk radio talent few have. I can't do it at that high medical level. It's doubtful many can do it,bring everyone on board.

The level to reach is first year of college. Go beyond that and lose audience, go below that and lose audience. Rush had it down few others do.

Leave it to Lucyt to solve the covid problem. After all there are researchers and than there is Lucyt one of a kind. Best of the best.

TAIPEI (Taiwan News) — A cheap drug originally designed to relieve heartburn but also well known in Asian-American communities as an “antidote” for the “Asian flush” is currently being studied in the U.S. as a treatment for the Wuhan coronavirus (COVID-19).

CNN on Monday (April 27) cited the president of Feinstein Institutes for Medical Research at Northwell Health, Dr. Kevin Tracey, as saying that preliminary results of a clinical trial to use famotidine to treat coronavirus patients in New York City could be available in a few weeks. Tracy said that 187 patients have signed on to the trial so far and that the institute hopes to enroll 1,174.

Unlike the normal dosage in the form of a pill, the patients are being given the drug in large doses intravenously, approximately nine times the prescribed amount for heartburn. The institute decided to begin trials after an infectious disease specialist at Massachusetts General Hospital, Dr. Michael Callahan, discovered significant results with coronavirus patients in China.

Initially, he and his Chinese colleagues were mystified to find that low-income patients who had been taking medication for chronic heartburn were faring much better than their wealthy counterparts with the same underlying stomach ailment who were taking a more expensive drug. They then realized that the poor patients were taking famotidine, the active ingredient in Pepcid (among other brand names), while the richer patients were taking the more costly omeprazole (Prilosec).

Those who had famotidine in their system were found to be dying at a rate of 14 percent, while wealthier patients who had been taking omeprazole were perishing at a significantly higher 27 percent, reported Science Magazine. After returning to the U.S., Callahan worked with scientists at Alchem Laboratories in Florida on running models to test whether famotidine could act as a protease inhibitor, preventing the virus from replicating, much like HIV drugs.

After running simulations on 2,600 different compounds, the scientists were encouraged to find that famotidine was one of three drugs with the apparent ability to bind with a viral enzyme known as the papain-like protease. Northwell used its own funds to begin the trial after receiving approval from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in early April.

Early anecdotal evidence has provided promising results, with one 44-year-old woman experiencing dramatic improvement, with her fever breaking and oxygen saturation returning to normal overnight after the first megadose of the drug. Five of her co-workers also saw major improvements after taking the over-the-counter version of the medicine.

Tracy told CNN that the results of the study had been kept quiet until this week to ensure that there is not a run on the drug as occurred with hydroxychloroquine, leaving heartburn patients without an affordable equivalent.

The enzyme aldehyde dehydrogenase (ALDH2) plays a crucial role in the metabolism of alcohol. However, people who easily become flushed, even after only one drink, may have the genetic mutation of this enzyme responsible for what is often referred to as the “Asian Alcohol Facial Flushing Syndrome,” or “Asian flush” response.

Asian Americans have found that taking famotidine, which is a class of drugs known as histamine-2 blockers, a half-hour before drinking alcohol can alleviate some of the flushing response and other symptoms of the enzymopathy. It is believed to work by blocking the body’s histamine response to the toxic acetaldehyde building up in the body.

Although famotidine produces tangible results for many sufferers of the Asian flush, experts advise carriers of this gene to abstain from drinking entirely because the histamines and acetaldehyde still present in the body can cause pancreatic and esophageal cancers. Taiwan has the dubious distinction of having the highest percentage of its population suffering from the affliction in the world
