The NY Times reported in January that Roseanne Boyland was “killed in a crush of fellow rioters” at the Capitol, but the Washington, D.C. medical examiner says she died of “acute amphetamine intoxication.”

Almost three months to the day since the January 6th Capitol riots, the medical examiner released the causes of death for the four people who died at some point during the melee.

According to Washington, D.C. Chief Medical Examiner Dr. Francisco J. Diaz, Kevin Greeson, 55, and Benjamin Phillips, 50, died from natural causes (a heart attack). Ashli Babbitt, 35, died from a gunshot wound to her left shoulder. Roseanne Boyland, 34, died from a drug overdose:

From a local DC reporter...

"The National Association of Medical Examiners set standard of 90 days to complete autopsies. DC Medical Examiner has now surpassed that with Ofc. Sicknick and no explanation as to why. Prosecutors say Sicknick was sprayed with bear spray, although that is rarely if ever lethal.

I just read where Tom Fitton of Judicial Watch is suing to have Sicknick’s autopsy report released.

Patience... Patience... Sometimes it takes longer than 90 days to manufacture BS that fits the narrative.

He's very likely to eventually succeed if DC's own open records guidance to reporters is any indication...

A. Autopsy and coroners reports

"Under D.C. laws governing the medical examiner, any person with a "legitimate interest" may gain access to autopsy reports. D.C. Code Ann. § 5-1412(c). This right can be enforced by court order. Id. Although the government may attempt to protect autopsy reports by asserting the privacy, investigatory records or Vital Records Act exemptions, those exemptions do not permit nondisclosure if the Medical Examiner's statute requires disclosure. D.C. Code Ann. § 2-534(c); Dunhill v. Director, 416 A.2d 244, 247-48 (D.C. 1980).

FYI, journalists and government accountability watchdog groups do qualify under the definition of 'legitimate interests.'

The only issue is that under federal FOIA laws, federal law enforcement can exempt evidentiary documents for some period of . IOW, a judge is likely to give the FBI some leeway on the release, but it won't be leeway in perpetuity. At some point. the FBI is either going to have to charge someone or release the report.

Find out why officer Sicknick died, and we will be on to the trail of evidence, that leads to Nancy Pelousy. She can’t allow it, which is why she should suffer from her own tactic, leaks to the press of crucial information. Truth is there, why is it being covered up?

The delay might be in part because the recently opened independent lab got closed down, kinda. Running away from accusations that a guv’mt sponsored lab, especially one funded by prosecutors, DC set up an independent lab. All police work across the area got sent there.
Until some standards folks (e.g., ANSI) walked thru and said “this is crap”. So, it is out of business. Unless, of course, someone wants to send work there and have the issue or “no certification” come out at trial. Since then all such work is jobbed out to a multitude of small labs all over the place.
I hope, but don’t expect, that whatever does come out on the poor guy is questioned as to legitimacy. I’m sure the MSM will bring it up. Yeah, right.

He died of a stroke, I’ve heard. You can bet if it was from a wound of any kind, it would be out there on the enemedia every day.
