Commissioner Robert Manfred needs to have his sorry arse fired by the owners sooner rather than later. This is the first step toward getting 50% (or more) of their fan base back.
Not gonna happen. The big diversity push that started in the 90s was to get progressive activists into positions, with pro sports teams, that would generally go to people who actually like and follow sports. Once in these positions (HR, Marketing) they could slowly plant their own agenda into corporate policy. Sadly there is no going back from this, it is stage 5 terminal.
