It’s easy to dismiss this as yet more panic/crisis theater. But, I think it’s important not to lose sight of the very real possibility this is not a virus of natural origin. If it was born in a lab - and I think that’s the most likely origin - we have no idea exactly what it was designed to do.
All I know is a year after it was turned loose on the world, China is more powerful in every meaningful way than it ever was before.
The problem is that there has been so much deliberate false information spread about this virus by those who are supposed to be working on our behalf. Thus it is very easy to dismiss any panic sounding stuff they come out with because they’re such proven liars. And it makes it very difficult to sort out the bits and pieces of truth that they apparently accidentally include.

But for some unknown reason the US Navy USS Roosevelt (of the Roosevelt Carrier Strike Group) was arranged by US STATE DEPT. for a “Port of Call” (including shore leave from the carrier) at DaNang, Vietnam. The sailors got infected by covid 19 and the nuclear armed/powered carrier was docked for weeks in GUAM and the idiot commander announced the stand down of a fighting carrier group to the entire world through San Fran press LEFTISTS. Assymmetric Chi-Com warfare achieved.

Scaring people with a 2nd Spanish Flu (that kills .2%), Locking people down in their homes, destroying their jobs and businesses, masking them at 6 feet distances most likely has nothing to do with their health. That darn virus that is mostly asymptotic is definitely to blame.
Nobody will ever be able to convince me that this wasn't a deliberate act by the Chi-Coms to destroy the economies of the world, and specifically targeted America, the most powerful country on the planet. Their main target was this country and President Trump. And they succeeded completely. Why the world isn't demanding that China be held responsible for all of this is beyond me. Evil is winning, and I'm glad I'm on the tail end of my life.
My theory is as follows: China needs to be rid of about three quarters of a billion people. COVID-19 seemed a good bio-candidate for the task, as it tends to kill the elderly and medically compromised (in communist terms, the useless eaters) while the younger and more healthy (the workers) recover. It escaped from the lab before the planned release and infected many in Wuhan. The CCP leadership saw the opportunity to test it on a large scale, so while stopping travel from Wuhan to other parts of China they encouraged it to other nations, the U.S. in particular.
With the aid of many blue state petty dictators and whining Karens, it succeeded beyond their wildest expectations.
