Her pickles were great. “Stewed death” - not so much.
I actually have some of her canning from 5 years ago. She said if the lid was sealed, you could eat for up to 6-7 years afterwards. I kept the pickles and sacrificed the tomatoes to the wild raccoons.
Loved that show. Have it on DVD.
