Unless there is video of them opening the bag and finding the bullet, it didn’t happen.
I have seen enough how its made shows to know that this story is impossible. Companies are paranoid of any piece of machinery comming loose and falling into a batch of food.
maybe the Frito Bandito dropped it in there.
Murphy’s law, “If something can go wrong, it will go wrong”, applies in that case.
Would a copper coated lead bullet be picked up by a magnemeter? I dont know about the level of sensetivity, and only ask because some bullets have very low response to magnetic detection as they contain very little iron/steel.
Copper jacketed lead is not magnetic.
Beat me by 14 seconds. Congratulations!
but now my money is on "FBI put it there" as part their insidious relentless ANTI-GUN program
( when they aren't busy shooting up Jason Aldean concerts in Vegas or supplying money to broder cartels to buy guns as in Fast and Furious, now they are putting bullets on snacks trying to change public opinion on gun ownership )
There are additional scanners to detect metals.
This story has my BS meter beeping and flashing red.
“How much money will they demand?”

That was my first thought. Lots of folks dream of hitting the lawsuit lottery jackpot.
TMZ is not the gold standard for objective reporting. Oh, never mind, neither are all other sources now days.
It’s made up. I wonder if his parents told him what to say?
Bow Born Bovine Excrement
That does not look like a bullet.
It doesn’t look like an unfired bullet of any type I recognize.
If it was fired it should have rifling grooves. Also we should see lead.
Most likely it is a machine part.
Got to be an Indian.
I have been in food processing plants. The number of magnets and metal detectors was something that surprised me.
My brother—they guy who ran the plant—told that when someone suggested their was anything metal in their (processed meat product) you knew they were full of crap.
I trust my eyes. Give them a coupon for a bag of chips and be done with it.
It certainly would be picked up by the scale. This stuff is weighed, measured, scanned, and magnetted six ways to Sunday.
A few burned chips? A bag cut at the wrong place? Sure, that stuff sneaks through.
These companies do not mess around with food.
But mighty tasty!
Well, that certainly proves, um, ... something.
