[Tell It Right]

My thing is that it used to be common knowledge that it's good to get out of the prior cooling period (the "Little Ice Age" from around 1300 AD to 1800 AD). We used to talk like it's a good thing that we're in the Current Warming Period (from mid 19th century to present) where crop yields are higher, rain is more predictable, and there are less plagues. We even hoped it'd one day get as warm as it was during the Medieval Warm Period (roughly 900 to 1250 AD) and the Roman Warm Period (when Jesus was born).

Then the political charlatans a few decades ago decided it'd be best to teach us that warming was now bad, that C02 is a pollutant, and that only by bowing to the god of government could we be saved from what we naturally exhale.

Back in the 1970s tere was a cooling period and the left was screaming “industrial winter”. Then, as now the “cure” is government control of energy (the means of production) and socialism/communism. So socialism/communism is the cure for every crisis. What the left wants is just more crisis.
