General Spalding was fired from his post as the Cyber Expert to the JCS for going public with his insistence that we not allow China to build our 5G network due to security concerns.
The book was a game changer for me in having a greater understanding of the mechanisms and goals of the Communist Chinese Party (I was pretty tuned in, but this was alarming to me)
Interesting thing, in reading the book, I was trying to discern the political leanings of General Spalding, and was somewhat unable to pin him down.
But in this excellent interview I link to, you can tell the man is sharp as a knife, and a Patriot. And he is clear-eyed about this.
As a Major back around 2000 who was flying B-2 bombers, he was selected for the Defense Language Institute Chinese-Mandarin Course and then went with full pay with his family to live in Communist China for two years going to college there for a business degree, then went back in 2016 as U.S. Senior Defense Official and Defense Attaché to China in Beijing. He knows of what he speaks.
He said that when he was there, he thought he might retire and start a business over there, but now...he says he wouldn't go back because he thinks they would find some way to keep him from leaving.

The China threat cannot be underestimated, nor even overstated.
What you have indicated is one vector of the stealth war involving the control of Communications infrastructure and the bleed of Red China control standards into the West, just like they bled the Wuhan virus into our nation.
We already see that with the Censorship of factual news, like in the Hunter Biden case, and the cancelling of personal accounts for ideological reasons.Red China has been doing it for years and now the companies that help Red China do it inside China, such as Facebook, Twitter, and many others, are doing it here. The next step is that you get a knock on your door. Do not be surprised if the Biden Alinsky administration brings that about in the next few years.
China conquers not by war exclusively, but also by insinuating its values slowly into a culture and usurping the hierarchy of the political system and the economic system. It works exceedingly well, as two million Tibetans discovered. The Biden excuse for government purposefully ignores the Red China bleed into us, while claiming to support the Human Rights of Tibetans, Uighurs etc, its a huge bare assed farce, concealable only with the help of an Alinsky MSM.
We need President Trump very badly.

Absolutely. It is a long interview, but I would suggest watching it, and even more, reading the book.
I admit, I have been low for some months now, but I gained some encouragement listening to this talented man tell his story and opinions on Communist China.
With men like him, the West is not dead yet.
