Indeed. I can't watch a current movie or TV series without it having a gay couple.

It’s as it was in the 50s and 60s, the public boycotted/walked away from programs (tv/films) with people who were offputting to them (Communists etc), it wasn’t a government ban on such “talent”.

They are upset that people don’t like it dangled in their faces every day and tune out.
