Correct, and a double-action revolver (like the one shown) IS a semi-automatic weapon. One trigger pull gets you one shot with the next ready to go.

I had one pulled on me in Mexico on a street. I was in crappy mood and didn’t really care if he shot me, and besides, the gun was so tiny that it couldn’t hurt me...so I kept walking and he faded away.
It was later that I was ‘schooled’ regarding just what that gun could have done to me. Anyway, next time I’ll hand him my wallet, I think.
His English was pretty good, by the way, could have made a living just off that capability, down there.

The stupid comments are only reflecting the stupid that the police department is projecting. They don’t have to be technically correct.
