For the most part, I agree with you.
But how is informed consent with regard to vaccination possible after we’ve been lied to by so many about so much?

I guess do independent research as I and many others have done. Early on I think we could tell that COVID-19 had severe effects primarily on the elderly and those with comorbidities. We also saw (or should have seen) from the dearth of COVID-19 disease among the homeless that sporadic exposure only to small amounts of virus at a time usually allowed natural immunity to build up without disease. We never should have closed elementary and middle schools and probably not higher level schools either.
I’m a firm believer in herd immunity. And that can be achieved through a combination of both naturally acquired immunity as well as immunity from vaccination.
That is my big problem...all of the lies. The lies have kept up because politicians like the power of the lockdown. With the vaccine, why do the left insist so much that people MUST take it. They don’t seem honest when they are saying that so I don’t trust them.
Informed consent? Who’s informed? You’re asked to sign that you understand the vaccinators have no liability. The thing’s experimental and nobody knows what’ll happen to the vaxxed, five years or twenty down the road.
All we’re informed of is that we can’t blame anyone but ourselves if there are bad consequences.
So, I’ll pass.

That’s the problem; I can’t do informed consent when the information has been unreliable and changing.
