That's all well and good if you happen to live someplace that has any businesses that don't require a mask. Unfortunately, many of us live where masks are absolutely always required, in every single business/store there is. Don't wear a mask? Then you're not going to be able to shop, unless you can get it online.
Yup. I just put the mask on at the last possible moment before I enter a store, wear it below my nose the entire time (I have glasses that fog up otherwise) then remove the mask the instant I leave the store.
This is in Massachusetts, not exactly a bastion on conservative freedom. But nobody has ever said a word to me. I’ll get an occasional dirty look as my mask rides below my nose, but that’s it.
People that enter stores deliberately without a mask looking for a confrontation are assholes. The poor shmucks working in the stores are just tryine to make a living.

1) clear face shield on glasses frame.
2) tell them “medical exemption”.
