Some related thing I’ve heard in recent years is that if you think that many women these days have very impossible and unrealistic demands of men leading to break ups, the divorce or separation rate for same sex marriages or common law arrangements among women is apparently even worse with all sorts of nasty instances.

I always try to tread lightly around fertility issues. It’s incredibly painful when couples can’t conceive or go through multiple miscarriages. My wife and I were lucky, all I had to do was look at her and she was pregnant. We have 3 boys, all conceived basically as soon as we started trying each time.

My sister on the other hand, had a terrible time trying to get pregnant and was ultimately told she would never conceive due to several medical problems. She and her husband adopted a baby girl and they’re doing great.

But yeah, perfectly healthy women feeling they need to freeze their eggs is sad. But I wish them well. I can’t imagine a lonely old life without kids...
