He had some things things right in ‘07, I agree. He exaggerated their effects a hundredfold, that’s all. Doesn’t matter, water under the bridge. Peter has basic concepts that are fine. He has a lot of misreads on when and how they will play out. He reminds me of Harry Dent. Dent had some incredible predictions in “The Great Boom Ahead” and they took place, including the real estate crash of 2007ish (predicted in 1993, to within months) and the subsequent record low interest rates. He is down to predicting a crash a year now, and has been wrong for some time. It’s the nature of the biz. Those fellows Prechter and Ruff also come to mind...
It’s a clever play on words, but they’re words that do strike deep. Democrat leaders encourage illegal aliens to come here, violate our borders, take our jobs and freeload on our taxpayers for food, welfare payments, education and healthcare because it follows their Cloward-Priven strategy designed to eventually collapse our social safety net and create internal chaos, the traditional preconditions for totalitarian takeover. Additionally, America hating Dems expect and are working to allow illegals to vote in order to keep the traitorous Jackass Party in power till the de Nu moi. All while proclaiming their great compassion for invading foreign freeloaders at the same time they incessantly and falsely accuse White Americans of hatred, racism, and bigotry. (We even had the unbelievable spectacle of Dem President Barack Obama’s long term preacher, Reverend Jeremiah Wright, proclaim “No, no, not God Bless America, but God Damn America!)
Consequently, to keep their subversive 5th column intact and engaged, sanctimonious Dem leaders prevent deportations even to the extent of setting up sanctuary jurisdictions and refusing to cooperate with Federal authorities to remove violent criminal aliens from our neighborhoods. So confident their propaganda monopolies will prevent traditional Dem constituencies from realizing they’re being sold down the river, Dem leaders can still count on the misplaced loyalties of their intended sacrificial chumps to keep Dems in office.
Dem leaders and their demonic media handmaidens are well on the way to to achieving the Pyrrhic victory they have so ruthlessly worked toward, and remain so completely uncaring of the humanitarian horrors their hubris will have unleashed on our beloved nation - minorities, the elderly, the frail and infirm, women and children to be hardest hit.

I suspect we will hear more about it with the Dems fully in control. Remember Beck (for all his faults) used to do shows about it on FOX (!). Cant see that happening again as the media seem to be mostly on board now.
I have no idea what will happen. Deals will be cut likely to keep the filibuster in place unless they decide to nuke it because it’s really now the last line of defense against HR1, etc.
Timing is very difficult.
I think Schiff or any economist has given up putting a timeline on things. They have no idea how far the FED will go in juicing the economy and printing money.
They have no idea how long this confidence in the dollar will last but their technically right and sound; once confidence is lost then there will be a crisis.
We will wake up to it one day, Saxxon and it’ll just happen.
Once the inflation genie is out of the bottle it is hard to put back in..
Schiff positions his clients to be ready for this “crisis” whenever it happens i.e out of US dollar assets and into international currencies, dividend yielding stocks, international bonds, gold, silver or whatever.
I think this is a worthwhile strategy if you’re worried about the US dollar, inflation and the shenanigans the FED are up to.
Peter Schiff is right about one thing, fiat dollar is worthless. I have lost trust in the US govt in regards to monetary policy. I will continue to stack precious metals as my new savings. Notice I do not mention investment. Although precious metals does increase in value against fiat currency.

Not qualified to give investment advice but it doesn’t hurt to buy gold/silver which will appreciate over the years.
Also I dont care about up/downs in the short term. Gold and silver (in particular) look cheap to me.
I have been buying physical gold since 2013 and haven’t done too badly. In fact it has got to the point where I need to put it in a vault or safety deposit box somewhere to be on the safe side... I am looking into this right now!
