Yes. The state legislatures yielded their power - a full topic for another time. Now they are facing voter backlash and are trying to compensate. Legally the U.S. Congress could correct the errors; it has been done before. The overall problem: (one word) Republican. The conspiracy to overthrow the Republic is deep... it will be difficult now to recover it.
Mitch McConnell should have challenged the 2020 election results in Georgia. Everyone could see the election problems. Instead, he let it go to a runoff knowing that he would lose the Senate. That describes the 2020 election results in a nutshell.
All the corrective efforts by the state's mean nothing. Nothing about the 2020 election will change; there was massive fraud. And look at the severe reaction to the Georgia election reforms; despite overwhelming voter support our new masters are viciously attacking with lies, lies, lies!
Gird your loins; trying times are upon us.
Thanks for the reply Bob.
I had not considered the McConnell angle. He is (WAS) a leader in a position to challenge but didn’t. He rolled over.
I think blaming the likes of Rand or the other senators is harsh.
They did not feel comfortable in overturning the states delegates. If three was proper leadership from Mitch then things could have been different.
