Cher is doubling down on her claim that if she could only have been in Minneapolis last May, she maybe could have helped George Floyd — after being roasted for saying so the first time.
“I CAN,I HAVE,& I WILL..HELP,” the singer tweeted Saturday.
Many online had accused Cher of being tone deaf or blinded by white and celebrity privilege Friday, after the performer tweeted: “Is Gonna Sound CRAZY,But.. I Kept Thinking …..Maybe If I’d Been There,…I Could’ve Helped.” But by Saturday afternoon, the “Believe” singer was undeterred.

It is clear that celebrity is no guarantee of intelligence. Cher has her past, her reputation, probably millions, but no concept of what she is talking about.
This is what propagandists work for, so that juvenile minds will be consumed in phony symbolism and manufactured importance. They cannot think for themselves.
Cher has an exaggerated image of her own importance, and so must share her vacuous, preposterous thoughts with us. So much the better, to enslave them all! No one would be more confused by this nonsense, than George Floyd himself.
Do you suppose, if there was a dictionary definition of “airhead,” her picture would be there?

I got a young man and “former” drug addict to help me put on a roof. His work was amazing. He was strong and really knew how to put on a roof. I paid him $1500. I know his landlord, so I know what happened next. He went on such a bender he destroyed the rental house; fist holes in the walls and doors and he broke off the a shower knob. He did, amazingly, turn off the water at the source. When the landlord entered the place the “former” drug addict had pushed every piece of furniture against the front door, which was broken in the frame. He had nailed the back door shut and then, apparently exited a window. He was staying in town at a motel, according to his father.
He was about 6’2”. Maybe 30. Good looking and well muscled; white, with thick reddish, well trimmed hair. When I saw him he had a neat, well put-together appearance. Now, unlike Cher, I was not trying “save” him. I had more than a bit of reluctance to pay him so much in cash. However, that was the deal and he had definitely earned it. When he had done small jobs previously, he didn’t make enough money to go on a real bender.
I liked him. He was exceptionally intelligent; able to converse on a huge number of subjects. For some reason he knew about every major ship wreck of the twentieth century. He knew what caused it, what was going on at the companies that owned the ships, the weather and the causes. He really lit up when talking about the wrecks.
Haven’t seen him since the roof. I had promised him regular work. Frankly, I’d be scared if he showed up today. He left a cat at the house. He has three kids by a “baby momma.” I gather the kids were feeling abandoned as they called him at least once an hour while he worked. I think that even they knew he would go on a bender once he had cash. None of them are older than eight.
I couldn’t have saved him. His father obviously couldn’t. Having kids didn’t change his behavior. Even Cher couldn’t save him. We’d all be idiots if we tried.
Too bad she couldn’t have saved Sonny.
