Pray about how far you should push this before going.
I’d do what the Holy Spirit told me to do before I’d follow the advice of anyone on this site.
The Bible tells us to be as smart as serpents and as meek as doves.
Christians need to be shown that there are people who put their faith in God and not a mask. I think that’s your purpose.
God bless you for your courage.
We’re biblically told to confront those in a congregation of believers who sin. THere is nothing untoward about raising the question of masks in a purportedly Christian church. I’m not going to push this any further than asking to go in without a face covering, and if they say “no,” I’ll turn around and leave.
It’s my discerning belief that many churches, ENTIRE CONGREGATIONS, are under strong delusion and under a malaise that won’t be removed until someone does something to removing it. Apparently a lot of people here love the malaise they are under and don’t want it disturbed.
Okay, so no masks were mandated for parishioners attending, but the servers were required to wear them. The service was very nice and traditional, as I remembered, though the young “woke” pastor was as insufferable as ever. The church has an orchestra, and it was so funny seeing the strings and non-mouth instruments wearing masks while “social distancing” 6 feet from each other. It was so comical I found it to be a giant distraction.
Makes you wonder how long they will keep up with this nonsense. Until their masters at the CDC tell them otherwise?
