It’s my understanding that particularly with Federal prosecutors they’ll give you huge breaks if you give them someone above you. With today’s Trump hating AG there’s a huge incentive for this guy to lie...to get half off his sentence.
Reminds me of that guy that turned in all the college application cheats like Lori Laughlin.
Never did hear what he got as far as jail or prison time - even though he is the one that made all of the arrangements at the colleges - for large cash payments.
My guess is nothing happened to him as a condition of turning over all the evidence and (rich) people involved in the case.
