The last time I flew Delta, 20+ years ago, international to London, the comments on the flight attendants definitely applied.
They were old, over-weight and never smiled. Not to mention they were also surly and humorless.
Now, Singapore Airlines??? Hubba Hubba...
Yep. Used to fly them back and forth from the UK.
One flight from Manchester to JFK was a nightmare. So bad...I sent a certified letter directly to the CEO. When I flew hack...a lot better. But that was in 1999 and I bet a letter, now, would be tossed in the trash.
Philippine Air has some hot ones too.
My last flight on Delta, probably 20-years ago, I asked for an exit row seat as I am 6’ 4”. I was assigned one with 12’ or less of distance between the front of my seat and the back of the seat ahead.
I went to a gaggle of flight attendants and explained my issue. One of them said, “So, what? What do you expect me to do about it?” I told her that I just wanted her company to understand why I wouldn’t be flying Delta in the future.
One of the other flight attendants came up to me, where I was wedged in, and offered to move me. I thanked her and told her that she must have many more important passengers to assist.
In a few minutes, the Captain came back and offered to move me to first class. I thanked him, but told him that I would sit where assigned for my last flight on Delta, ever.
As he left me, I saw him whisper something to the first flight attendant. She went white as a sheet.
Last time on Delta. Now, I don’t have to fly at all!
