I don't think this is going to end the way people hope this is going to end. The alleged girl in question is the very same girl that is the center of the case against Gaetz's friend, Joel Greenburg.

There's a lot of things people won't like in this DailyMail story - like comments from disgraced FBI Director McCabe - but if the central elements of what is being alleged in the story are true, Gaetz is screwed. This would also go some way towards explaining the eerie silence coming from most GOP House members.

The fact that the FBI has already indicted Greenburg over the same 17-year old, is a huge red-flag. It sounds like she's a cooperating witness. This all reinforces my belief that irrespective of party and ideology, you should never give any politician the benefit of the doubt when it comes to salacious sex stories. More often than not, they turn out to be largely true.
