didn't vote for Reagan initially but when my eyes were opened, I went full conservative with his 2nd run....

don't worry about supporting dubya....we were all fooled....

and our Trump said way way back that Dubya should be in prison....

Great post. I wish I had known about the Bush's early on it could have made a difference for me. In the late 80's and 90's 41 used to come to the Keys all the time and take over our biggest resort as he was potus. I was in journalism at the time and he loved to fish and I covered him a lot.I Had no clue who he really was. Wish I did.

I wound up building him a fishing rod and had a friend who fished him give it to him. A few weeks later I got a call late one afternoon that he wanted to sign a hat for me I was to go meet him and get the hat. I didn't figure it out at the time but the one who called had to be sec. serv. or CIA who knew. For some reason and I don't know why I kept turning the guy down! He was perplexed. My wife worked at the resort I told the guy to give the hat to her,LOL! Little did I know! I always wondered what made me turn down the invitation for a little one on one with him but I'm glad I did now.
