Re-assessment:
This is a similar, but less unexpected, derp move. China WAS isolated by Trump and friendless in their zone, with Iran one of their last remaining allies.
This is still a move against the Saudi/Israeli/MAGA coalition, as China tries to rearrange the world map after taking America.
Or so they think (outcome still pending).
Other moslem states now refer to China as 'the Yellow Satan'. Jihad pending.
