CDC says it is now safe for fully vaccinated Americans to travel domestically or internationally
Health officials have discouraged travel for even people who have had their full shot regimen up until now
Agency has dropped the rule requiring fully vaccinated international travelers to quarantine after returning to the US
Americans will still be required to test negative for COVID-19 before boarding a return flight to the U.S. and to test within three to five days of their return
Testing will not be required in order to board a flight to another country, unless the destination country requires a negative test
