NPR? I go back to just WHY we are as taxpayers paying for this biased garbage; it should have been taken off the public payroll decades ago.
We had Republican majority Congresses in the 2000’s and from 2017-2019 which could have privatized NPR, PBS, Amtrak, Rural Electric, and ended unproductive government programs. The Republicans in Congress chose not to address spending, other than perpetuate the fallacy of a baseline spending plan that grows instead of staying flat. During the Bush Administration they were earmark happy. During the Trump administration they couldn’t end Obamacare which almost all of them had promised when campaigning.
How many wasteful programs has the GOP eliminated in the last 50 years?
