Much of what you say is true, and hopefully this will lead to a revolution in schooling. But the fact of the matter is many students are struggling with on line learning and they are falling behind. Some may be permanently damaged by all this nonsense.
And ALL children need to be with their peers. They can’t do much of that now even in other areas. Learning to get along with one another is of paramount importance in life. We do that during our childhoods.
Think how many children today are only children. Imagine how isolated they are at this time.
What has been happening is a disgrace. The teachers’ unions must be utterly broken and destroyed. Any and all good teachers will find jobs in the new systems that will be developed. The bad ones that are now being protected by their unions can drop dead.
First, we would need an opposition party to the Dems to assist with favorable legislation for competition.
Unfortunately, many of the teachers are part & parcel of this evil system. Not all, I know. You have a lot of schools where there are several Christian teachers and they find a way to teach the truth, but as they progress into MS & HS, the numbers of Christian teachers drop off.I’m 72 and I have witnessed this both as a school nurse as well as a parent.

The teachers’ unions must be utterly broken and destroyed.
Could not agree more FRiend. Unfortunately I do not believe that will happen in my state (California). Even if we succeed in recalling Newscum his successor will be just as beholden to the teachers' unions. The prognosis is likely better in the red states.
Any and all good teachers will find jobs in the new systems that will be developed.
If only that were so. As it is we face a shortage of any teachers, let alone good teachers. The older, more experienced teachers were the most likely to leave the profession because of health concerns during the pandemic, leaving behind a younger pool.
