Governmental fixation of race is not the answer to racism.
Neither is woke corporations constantly running ads with mixed race couples as the norm.
It has the opposite effect.

I agree, though the article isn’t clear on that point. I believe what they’re discussing are the efforts of Shelton Johnson, a well known park ranger, not a new Park Service imitative.
The message I got, loud and clear, okay, you folks are not acting white enough.
I was hired at a state park until I wasn’t. They had to call the day before I was to start because they were diversified enough so they could only hire a black. The job notice was up for many years after that due to no black applicants.
IOW, I was discriminated against if the rules were followed properly.
