I like muscles as well. Steam them open, enjoy with garlic bread, a crisp chardonnay and some Allman Brothers tunes. My kind of day.

Mr. Bean beats the other guy to all the oysters on the half shell. Then finds out they weren't so fresh.

I was in maine visiting a freeper and the tide was going out which allowed you to walk to a nearby island, I an I say to on of my Mainer friends, that’s some good clam digging ova dere, ant the freeper says “no you wont mistah!! that is protected land LOL

Later we had clams, lobster, corn on the cob and red taters all swimming in buttah...

there was a place in groton ct, “the gathering place” and they had free clams on the half shell and oysters for a 2 hour happy hour.

Delmars smelled like fish but that was just west pac widows...

Off topic a bit..we like yellow saffron rice with generous helping of fresh prawns sautéed in garlic butter, add planters peanuts to the shrimps, finally some green seedless grapes. Top with chopped cilantro. Again...more wine.

I can eat oysters and other shell fish but for some reason, I've gotten sick the last 4 times I've eaten mussels so I don't touch them any more....

I grew up on clams. My favorite aside from raw is Baked Clams. It’s more of an oreganotta than casino. My signature dish is Seafood Paella. I use clams, mussels, shrimp, cod, lobster along with a good andouille sausage and chicken.
I have a 26 inch diameter paella pan. I can pretty much feed my family and my friends families.
