I’m not from Atlanta, but I was curious about the “Muses Property” which the female employee now refuses to visit.
It appears to be a Loft/Apartment development, located at
50 Peachtree Street NW,
Atlanta, GA 30303
Curious what’s wrong with that area? Too many homeless/addicts?
“Too many homeless/addicts?”
Yes, and too many hoodlum types roaming around and shooting each other periodically. Georgia State University is a downtown university and students get mugged and carjacked regularly. The Georgia Tech students in Midtown do as well.
I used to work ~6 blocks from there. Ok for long walks at lunch, but not somewhere I’d want to be at night on a regular basis. You might remember BLM et al attacking CNN last year - that’s the area.
Muse's was a local chain of menswear stores. The original was the downtown location. I think they had one in Lennox Square, as well. If you needed a nice suit, you went there, or to Rich's (a full fledged department store chain). Davidson's (an operating front for Macy's) would have been the other department store option. And I think there was another reasonably high end men's store.
It's Atlanta. Think, mozambique.
What’s wrong? It’s a socialist disease.
