I had been working a midnight shift and woke up to the news that afternoon.
Turning on the TV to ABC, I saw the reporters running around like chickens with their heads cut off.
When it was mentioned that the revolver had been bought in Dallas, Frank Reynolds, the news caster, threw his hands in the air and yelled...”A-G-G-H! DALLAS!” Bad memories of 1963.
I was walking to the infirmary to hear I had Mono and I heard someone say “Good news. Reagan was shot” and I almost slugged him.
When the news of President Reagan being shot was announced over the intercom of my Minnesota grade school, most of the students in my fourth grade class cheered. The teacher smirked and weakly tried to quiet them. It was at that point I realized how evil the Democrat ideology was and what a profound threat they were to our nation and our constitutional ideals.
This reminds me of the curse put upon the presidency that every president elected on the 20th year (00,20,40,60,80) would die in office. Reagan appears to have broken that curse by actually dying and being revived.
Biden better hope the curse is over, because he was elected on a 20th year. But then, he wasn’t really elected. He stole it.
