I saw his appearance on the current SNL a year or so ago...his sketches were funny (if a bit dated), but it appeared painfully obvious that he would never have been accepted as part of today’s ensemble.
I agree.
It seems to me that the best comedy is that which exposes and makes fun of foolishness.
Unfortunately, making fun of foolishness offends Leftists (I wonder why?) and is therefore considered “politically incorrect”.
That puts comedians out of a job.
