"Nothing about: Where is all the electricity coming from?"

Unicorn farts.

Besides, why should proles like you need transportation? $3 trillion in "infrastructure" will be used to build housing complexes next to the People's Factory #17. That way, you can walk to work.

My next car will be a plug in hybrid with at least a 40 mile EV range. Why? Because for 99.99% of my driving is under 40 miles per day. Which means the solar panels on my roof which make frpm 100 to 180 kwh per day 220+ days per year in sunny Texas. NOAA data backs up the 220 days of sun over the last 365 my panels recorded. Ar no point has my large as in 3600+ sqgt home used more than 80kwh in a 24 hour period. That was in August with my dual zone AC units at 67 down stairs and 69 upstairs. On that day my panels made 183 kWh of electricity which means I spun my power meter showsbackwards by over hundred kWh I could have used just 10 kwh to cover the 40 miles or less I drove in that day. My panels have oaid for themselves in 4 years of power sales to ERCOT during peak use I get paod up to $9 kwh as is the state legal max usually its 25 to 40 cents per Kwh for peaker rates I wish it was legal to hook up my natural has powered generac to the feed in panels and put another 15kw in addition to the 15 from my panels at peak times but you can only sell solar not natural gas power to the grid as a noncommercial producer. The point is I will never need the grid to power an electric vehicle my panels make so much surplus I could let 4 of my neighbors come charge their EVs on a sunny day and not have to save one kWh in home use 220 days a year no less. I love my panels they kept the lights on and the heat pumps running during the black out the grid was down for 36 hours then for 12 again my lights never went off and the house was at 72+ the whole time when the sun was down I ran the generac for the two hours before ned and just let the sun come up and power up the house at dawn while we all slept in.
