No it’s that Roberts is a true believer and loves DC and the swamp. No coercion needed. I’ve never seen the slightest proof that he is anything but a swamper.
Way early in his career he did pro- bono work for that landmark homo marriage case out of Colorado.
Roberts is being who he is.
