So the players union pays the bills now? And makes the decisions?

I think I need to go tell my boss I’ve decided how he should run his business

They relocate the game & Atlanta & Georgia will sue & win for the loss of revenue plus punitive damages.

The revenue generated to the city of Cleveland was over $65 million for the last all star game held in 2019. It is a high price for MLB & The players union for woke nonsense. They have already agreed to & signed contracts.

It is most certainly none of MLB or the players union business how Georgia handles it’s elections. A large percentage of the union isn’t even supposed to vote as they aren’t citizens.

Why even play the game anymore? I think it’s time to form an independent league. Call it old school if you would. No DH. All those rules you mentioned? Not allowed.

Any city or arena which doesn’t have a “political crybaby cancellation” clause with severe penalties in their contract is a fool. Make it way too expensive to even think about moving at the last minute. And if the league won’t sign it, then they don’t deserve your city as a home for their special events.

Great idea if they want to see TV ratings decline as much as the NBA’s have. The difference, though, would be that MLB won’t have Chinese money available to bailout it out.

MLB can shrivel and die with the rest of the pro sports.

Sho’ nuff.......we quit watching them all when that spectacle of kneeling started.......we even quit watching local news.......haven’t watched that in over a year even through floods and storms. We still here without ‘em

This Cobb County folk will not be mad at all.

Five days ago just across I-285 from the Braves stadium, Truist Park, there was a shootout in broad daylight in the parking lot of Cumberland Mall, which is just across Cobb Parkway from The Galleria.

Man, child shot outside Cumberland Mall, police say

I worked in an MCI wire center for several years in the 1000 building on Circle 75 Parkway that now wraps around Truist Park.   I also had to maintain telecommunications equipment in the 900 and 1100 buildings.   It sure has changed down there and we didn't even get a free t-shirt.   We did get a higher tax load.

a dozen people are going to tell us that they cut the cord 10 years ago, and have never been happier.

I would say that's a good thing, since that's money that is not going into the networks wallets.

Major League Baseball is thinking of boycotting Atlanta's All-Star Game after Fulton County literally threw three elections last year into the Democrat column with vote fraud? All because the legislature and the governor signed a law to limit fraud. Is that correct?

That would be the same governor who said there was no fraud in the election, the Fulton county that was recounted two or three times, and the same legislature that hasn't gone to court with any vote fraud indictments?

Georgia could have gotten away with the voter suppression laws if the Governor and the Secretary of State hadn't claimed long and loud there was no vote fraud in November. But they did, so they can't hide their actions as attempts to secure future elections. They have left themselves wide open for legal challenges that may well be successful.
