RE: Don’t get me wrong: I want to believe what was written. Trust, but verify.
My point is attacking the publisher of this magazine is not the way to verify. The article refers to medical sources. THESE are the people to go to and verify.
My issues with the publisher/editor and the article:
1) No byline on the article; therefore could have been written by the sketchy publisher
2) Online publication only; copied the name of a former “brash tabloid” out of India but is unrelated to the original Blitz
3) No links in the artlcle to the claims made in the artlcle.
4) This topic isn’t political opinion; it is scientific and health-related in an era of pernicious misinformation coming from many directions, and should be resourced properly.
That said, I did some research that the publisher (or possibly you) should have done, which is to find a couple of links regarding the Yale physician, Alessandro Santin. His claims were published in the Italian language, and I did not find them in English, although I can read Italian.
