For about the first 20 years after 4 years of military service, my wife couldn’t get me to wear a suit, nice clothes yes but no suit/tie. By the time my youngest son got married, he even talked me into wearing a tux.

Now 54 years after military, I still refuse to wait in a chow line to eat in a restaurant.
