I adored Ramona and cried right along with her. I’m 78 and learned the lessons needed to be true to myself and survive the world, but I was desolate when I had read all the Ramona books and there were no more new ones.

And I had a wonderful teacher for both 1st & 2nd grade whom I loved as much as Ramona loved hers.

I hope your students loved you back just as much.

As I was a home schooler I trust they did!! :)

It is funny I’d read aloud to the youngest and the older a would all still gather around. I soon learned and we read aloud through high school no apologies. Lots of book including much Dickens, the great brain, all
The Laura Ingalls and LOTR and little britches...fourteen year old boys will stop and listen to stories read aloud - one of the best decisions I made home schooling.
