“If you can develop the Chicom Cold after your COVID-19 inoculation, what good is it?”

I got measles twice, after having been vaccinated.

But the vaccination program pretty much erradicated wild measles transmission in the US anyway, by reducing transmission below replacement rates (like a population with a tiny birth rate dies out over time).

Also, out of those who are re-infected by COVID, virtually none die of it.

Of those who contracted it "naturally," 99.6% survive. "Virtually" no one dies from it. Naturally.

Would you agree that the viruses that we need to be concerned about are the ones which ultimately cause death, long term illness, or serious side effects?

The viruses that we survive generally make is stronger.

Deaths from measles were already down 90-95% when the measles vaccine was introduced (due to sanitation and nutrition). Look at any of the available trends. If sanitation and nutrition could eradicate measles, could it be fully eradicated through more intensive nutritional programs? It would seem so.
