What sort of pie does The Hill area of St Louis have....I know the German area in west St. Louis has that unusual preval cheese pie but the Hill area has a serious concentration of Italian food to rival Brooklyn or the North End

There was a place in St. Louis called “Imo’s” - not in “The Hill” neighborhood, but as I recall maybe near U. City. They called their pie “St. Louis style”, and it did have a distinctly different taste - and a pretty good one, at least in my opinion.
I don’t know if they have good pie’s, but I love Charlie Gitto’s on the Hill in St. Louis! Their Baked Spaghetti and meatballs are awesome. They make some delicious steaks too!
