Just for fun, I decided to check out the Eudravigilance site for myself. And, as is the case with most of these fear-mongering opinion pieces, I find that the data does not actually show what the fear-mongerer wants to claim.

One misleading statement in the fear-monger piece is that the vaccines are experimental. They are not. Like all vaccines (and all pharmaceutical products), the Covid-19 vaccines had to undergo clinical testing before they could be approved for use.

I will also mention that the site does not give separate data for deaths when looking at the reported suspected effects profile. In order to find deaths, one must run a separate search. More on this below.

I looked at the four Covid-19 vaccines, as well as 2 of the influenza vaccines, an infant hepatitis vaccine, and a cancer drug for comparison. I do not see much difference in the reporting profile of suspected reactions between the three different types of vaccines. Even the cancer drug has a similar profile (with notable differences in the neoplasm and musculoskeletal categories, consistent with the fact that it is a cancer drug). Together, these facts suggest to me that the reported reactions are more related to the overall health issues profile of vaccine recipients than they are to the effects of any particular vaccine.

Now, back to the death profiles:
I ran a search for deaths on the ASTRAZENECA (CHADOX1 NCOV-19) vaccine. I found 25 deaths listed, which is far lower than the 451 deaths claimed by the fear-monger. Of those 25 deaths, 16 were above age 65, and 11 were reported to have been taking other medications at the time of vaccination. We must also take into consideration that the Covid-19 vaccines are prioritized to people who are elderly or have medical conditions that make them more prone to serious disease if they catch Covid-19, which is also a group of people who are more likely to die than the general population. Of those deaths, only one appeared to be directly related to vaccination, and that was a young man who developed Guillain-Barre syndrome, which is a known rare side effect of vaccines.

Some disclaimers directly from the Eudravigilance website:

“Home-Key information:

“The information on this website relates to suspected side effects, i.e. medical events that have been observed following the use of a medicine, but which are not necessarily related to or caused by the medicine.

“Information on suspected side effects should not be interpreted as meaning that the medicine or the active substance causes the observed effect or is unsafe to use. Only a detailed evaluation and scientific assessment of all available data allows for robust conclusions to be drawn on the benefits and risks of a medicine.”

“Understanding reports-data source:

“A side effect is classified as ‘serious’ if it (i) results in death, (ii) is life-threatening, (iii) requires hospitalisation or prolongation of existing hospitalisation, (iv) results in persistent or significant disability/incapacity (as per reporter’s opinion), (v) is a congenital anomaly/birth defect, or (vi) results in some other medically important conditions.”

Any time someone uses adverse effect reporting systems to try to prove something in the context of fear-mongering, one must interpret the fear-mongering in light of what the purpose of reporting systems actually is and how they are used. Adverse effects experienced when a person takes a drug can be reported whether or not the adverse effect is actually related to a drug. In order to actually tie adverse effects to the drug, more information and further investigation is necessary.

It is transparent how you vax pushers apply a very liberal standard to (alleged) cv19 diagnoses and deaths, and apply an opposite critical standard to vaccine injury.

You people own a half million dead, the scamdemic narrative, and now the invasion at the southern border. Great work.

“Like all vaccines (and all pharmaceutical products), the Covid-19 vaccines had to undergo clinical testing before they could be approved for use.”

Can you indicate how the COVID clinical testing compares to the typical vaccine testing that normally takes years to get passed by the FDA?

Thanks for you hard work in post 30.

Incidentally, I have family/friends who told me they have friends who died from COVID. However, I never heard anyone say they even knew of someone who died from the vaccine.

Thanks for that post. Really helps to Put things in perspective more. We only hear about the “high profile” deaths, because people never slow down to gawk at boring parked cars, they do however like to rubberneck when it comes to smashups. Deaths grab all the headlines because people are rightful.y concerned about something that was thrust upon us out of the clear blue, disrupting our lives, wreaking havok.

The fact that the profiles of incidents is t much worse, or is the same as other things like flu vaccines etc, helps to put into perspective the dangers a bit more for folks who are concerned about something new like the vaccines. Especially when “the news” always seems to be just about those who have reactions or die, which is not u usual apparently for any vaccines really, because amny amny factors play into the cases. Noone pays attention to to boring stats that show millions of folks have no issues, or very few issues.

But with this vaccine comes the potential prospect of “long term” —possible— issues, which is an unknown at this point, which also has folks understandably concerned. Unfortunately too many polls get very heated when discussing issues like this, and turn to personal attacks.

Thanks for just sticking to the facts, and for getting the facts out there.
