My mom was on the same meds in the 50’s for the same reason. Five times.
Her breast cancer metastasized and killed her.
I always wondered what role that stuff they gave her to dry her up that she said didn’t work anyways, played in it.
My Mom is on almost 40 yrs since her original DX. She located the cancer herself early on, but the family MD told her not to worry about it. That happened at least once more afterwards as well. The hospital where she had her second surgery was carpeted and notorious for hospital infections. My son’s pediatric MD office here was the same up until a few years ago: carpeting in the waiting area where sick children are sneezing, coughing and puking. The same people telling us to mask up, distance and stay home have (or had) a super-spreader environment in their offices.
