Once dated a petite woman with “man hands”. Nice person, very pretty face but I just couldn’t get over the fact that she was 5’-0” tall with large masculine hands. Always made me feel like I was holding hands with a 6’-4” steel worker or auto mechanic.😲

I was so proud I had to post it TUU times, so it seems.
She probably does, but would she get them? You’d have to have a soul to understand Mr. Curtis. She probably just thinks, “I’ve seen the cool kids wearing that shirt...”
The funny thing... a lot of my middle school students where the t shirts of old new wave/goth bands. Little do they know their cool English teacher lives and breathes this stuff 24/7. Some actually listen to it because their parents were cool and taught them well.
Most just get the t-shirts because they think the picture is cool when they see the shirt at Hot Topic.
But I do have some gothy students who get this stuff. The sardonic ELA teacher with the black nails has a bit of a fan club. (and tons of them are right wing, so go figure.)
