This is false. The neutralizing antibodies for the April 2020 variant of SARS-CoV-2 are less effective against the Brazil and South Africa variants, but still effective if present in sufficient quantities. Also worth noting that vaccinated persons show much higher concentrations of neutralizing antibodies than people who had a mild COVID-19 infection and recovered. The current vaccines available in the United States are effective against all known variants.

Watch as our COVID case counts and deaths plummet like they have in Israel. All of Israel's neighbors are seeing climbing cases and deaths, but Israel has provided vaccines to over 56% of its population and is the only country in the region seeing COVID cases and COVID deaths plummeting toward zero.

The clinical trials are by definition substandard. Otherwise we wouldn’t need special authorization for release.
