Wendover St and Henry Ave: best in Philly - beats Pat's and Geno's by a mile!
Sadly there is no good place around here.
I have to get one off a food truck from a Nicaraguan girl.
It’s OK
Geno’s is a tourist trap, IMO.
Went to Jim’s on a blustery wet November day, got inside, and had one of the most enjoyable meals of my life wid onions and peppers and priceline, a bag of chips and a Yuengling, which was very much like Coors used to be back in the old days...
Didn’t make it to Pat’s though. I’ll make it a point to if one finds oneself in Philly again.
Honorable mention, DeAngelo’s Italian. A couple with Oklahoma accents can’t escape some scrutiny. On the way out Mr. DeAngelo , a most gracious gentleman, engaged in conversation with us. It was actually one of the high points of the trip for myself.
