Noem claims that there were not enough protections within the bill to avoid constant lawsuits so she sent it back to be re-worked, AFAIK
She said that, but other stuff too. If it was merely that, okay. We will see.
The fear of litigation is not a reason to back track on supporting this bill. Pence did the same thing in LGBTQ issues in Indiana, so I have read. Maybe her advisors are bad and acting out of self interest, as I have read. Maybe they are her advisors because she agrees with them. I am very dissapointed and do not see myself shaking the Noem tree for Pres/VP. Better than Abbott but turns out to be a typical politician.
