I don’t disagree with you that there are a lot of awful doctors out there. Our profession gave up a lot of its moral high ground in pursuit of the almighty dollar and it makes me sick.
I cannot stand most administrators and in leadership roles in the hospital have been referred to as a purist. I suppose there are worse things to be. But this so called physician has violated her oath and like many others deserves to be out of our calling

I actually hate to characterize it that way. I think most MDs truly mean well. Ego and arrogance are not confined to the medical profession either. There is plenty of it in my particular field. It is just that having such a potentially profound impact on life and death seems to make it seem all that much worse.
