I made the mistake of listening to a “Bigfoot” recording late last night and then tried to go to sleep. Usually that stuff doesn’t bother me, just some goofy fun. But this one was different and weird. I’d hear stuff and it would spook me! But each time I had to remind myself “Okay - if it was really something the dog would be barking!”
Even though I don’t believe in Bigfoot, whatever is screaming like that is nothing I want to EVER encounter.
Sounds like freaking Banshees.
Dogs are not stupid.
They will wisely shut up if something far beyond their abilities is out there.
If mine go up in the corner of the yard and watch the darkness intensely but say nothing, I know coywolves are close.
