Like any business, appearance is part of the product. All things being equal, a more attractive product is going to do better than an unattractive product. Being overweight probably reduced sales and cost her some opportunities but she has done well overall. It was her choice in life selections, it was the customers and songwriters choice as well. There is nothing wrong with allowing people choices.

I dunno... I’d have agreed with your point as recently as 6 months ago. But with COVID it seems that if you are obese, or have life-style co-morbitities, you actually go to the FRONT of the treatment line. Try getting a vaccination right now if your just under 65 and healthy.
